The Price Monitoring, Analysis and Response Kit (MARKit) was developed by representatives from the Local Regional Procurement (LRP) Learning Alliance to guide food assistance practitioners through the steps to monitor markets during the implementation of food assistance programs, and to ensure that programs remain responsive to changing market conditions.

This manual is intended to guide users through the toolkit, which consists of several related materials. The materials should be used in conjunction to have a full understanding of implementing MARKit.

M&E Training and Capacity-Building Modules

CRS and the American Red Cross collaborated on this nine-part series of training and capacity-building materials in program monitoring and evaluation. The modules provide practical information across a wide range of topics, from hiring M&E staff to preparing for a program evaluation. They were conceived and developed to respond to field-identified needs for specific guidance and provide tools that are not available in other publications. Examples focus on Title II programming, but the material is also relevant outside the realm of food security.

ProPack II serves as a reference guide for CRS and partner staff in mutual capacity strengthening efforts, in support of CRS’ partnership strategy. ProPack II, guide d’implémentation et de gestion de projet, avait été élaboré afin de répondre à la demande des programmes pays pour plus de support dans le domaine de la gestion des projets. Cela fait directement suite au ProPack I, guide de document de projet et d’élaboration de projet, et tire profit de concepts simples et méthodologies introduits dans ce volume. ProPack II inclus des sections sur les concepts et théories de la gestion de projet, la planification détaillée d’implémentation, le suivi et l’évaluation, et tire aussi profit des outils introduits dans le ProPack I. ProPack II sert de guide de référence pour le staff de CRS et ses partenaires dans les efforts mutuels de renforcement de capacité en support à la stratégie de partenariat de CRS. Ensemble, ces deux manuels offrent au staff de CRS les outils et information essentiels de projet dés la phase initiale de conception jusqu’ à la clôture du projet.
