Tortillas on the Roaster Summary Report: Central American Maize-Bean Systems and the Changing Climate

  

Higher temperatures and changes in rainfall patterns could transform the agricultural landscape of Central America, threatening the livelihoods of one million maize and bean farmers. This report exposes the risks of climate change to these two most-important food crops in Nicaragua, Honduras, El Salvador and Guatemala.

My Skills, My Money, My Brighter Future in Zimbabwe: An Assessment of Economic Strengthening Interventions for Adolescent Girls

This project was designed to improve the economic status, food security, health and psychosocial well-being of out-of-school (or at risk of being out-of-school) adolescents. The assessment evaluates three economic strengthening approaches: (1) vocational training, (2) Junior Farmer Field and Life Schools and (3) Savings and Internal Lending Communities.
