Revitalizing Vanilla in Madagascar

  

In Madagascar, CRS studied the feasibility of enhancing small farmer participation in the vanilla value chain and the opportunities this could offer farmers. The study results revealed vanilla is a value chain that offers significant opportunities for small-holder farmers in Madagascar. We are now pursuing opportunities to support these farmers to enhance their participation, which will result in extensive social, environmental and economic benefits.
