CRS shares strategies for capacity strengthening at Society for International Development event

The SID-Washington Civil Society Workgroup hosted a panel discussion on April 26, 2012. The panel explored the approaches used by three international development community leaders to strengthen their host-country partners' institutional capacities. The event covered the many issues that have arisen as U.S.-based private voluntary organizations have sought to transform the principles of partnership—from policy rhetoric to operational reality—in donor-funded international relief and development programs. Sarah Ford, CRS senior technical advisor for partnership and capacity strengthening, was one of three panelists. Click here to read more about the event.
